We at Builders Depot Direct understand the impact that any commercial business can have on the environment and it is for that reason that we try to reduce our waste and overall carbon footprint. It is also through these practices that we can also reduce our cost. We have adopted the following practices with in the organization:

• Recycling of packaging where possible
• The reuse of wooden pallets
• The safe disposal of non-recyclable waste
• Heating our buildings in a controlled manner
• Turning off lights when rooms are not in use
• Careful planning of delivery routes to maximize the efficiency of each vehicle.

We are also acutely aware of the deforestation occurring in certain areas of the world and the need to move the flooring industry towards sustainable resources. We will only sell wood products that are from managed forests.
